Based in Orangeville, Ontario, Katia is passionate about wildlife which is where she draws her inspiration. Her process involves gathering materials from her own surroundings such as leaves, pinecones, feathers in combination with man-made items. She then use these objects while designing the background and textures of each piece. The end result is beautiful artwork that evokes the intersection of our human presence with the natural world.
